A few kilometers from Palazzolo Acreide, perched on a hill, is Buscemi, a town-museum that preserves the agglomeration of a troglodyte settlement that recalls the ancient origins of the town of Buscemi.
In the village you can visit the authentic places of rural work: from the house "ro massaru" (typical house of the landowner of the area) to "putia ro firraru" (blacksmith), from "casa ro iurnataru" (house of a laborer) to mill "u trappitu", until the cobbler's workshop "putia ro scarparu" and that of conciabrocche "appuntapiatti".
All in a path littered with magnificent churches and charming squares.
